2017 All Ireland Senior Football Championship

Ah Seanā€™s a good bloke and a gentleman off the pitch as well. At least you know heā€™s given everything he has and is an actual winner, so knows what it takes to get there. Iā€™d accept him asking it over the stupid cunts from other counties who just moan and moan about bigger counties success and then equally moan when theyā€™re caught being on the lash the Monday before a big game or who donā€™t want to put in the time it takes to get to that level

These cunts started training last September?

Thanks. If you post enough I suppose some of it will make some sense. Some of it is driven by personal frustration at success becoming a prerequisite for doing anything. Sport apart from top end is about having fun and not chasing one per cents to get better through the appliance of science. Problem is that elitism and ā€œprofessionaismā€ invades all levels down to the youngest kids.

I was lucky enough to win all Ireland medals underage and sport was competitive but people were not completely invested in success and parents sort of shrugged their shoulders and had no social media to post to or show you off on.

There is a generation of kids now who are exposed to fuckers with their initials on club gear while they coach 10 year olds and who move at the pace of the strongest kids in an attempt to vicariously live through producing a Dublin footballer for the eventual social media post.

ultimately apart from a fleeting warm gooey feeling winning a medal underage doesnā€™t mean a whole pile and the same warm gooey feeling can be found having banter on the way home or dodging the long runs. Eventually girls. Or boys.

My talent ran out eventually and I packed it in but the lessons learned along the way hopefully stand to you. You learn there are people better than you. You learn if you practice you get better. You laugh. You score a World Cup winning goal in July. Win Wimbledon in May. The all Ireland in September. The Olympics every four years. and you are home in time for dinner.

Should be a note inside every pair of boots saying that more than likely you will lose more games than you will win so enjoy it for what it is.

Keep the faith man.a shit Meath team put 5 goals past Dublin in July 2010. It was the lowest point for Dublin football in an era with lots of low points to choose from. 14 months later we won the All Ireland.

Did it ever dawn on them they were training hard doing the wrong shit?

Its so obvious bow Dublin have been putting huge time into movement and biomechanics for a ling time.

Since they employed Cullen its gone to another level.

I was laughed at when i asked a member of the Kerry management were they doing the above. Who is laughing now ye thick cunts

Apologise to Kev, admit you got it totally wrong and then you will be able to move on from this debacle.

Cork hurlers missed important league games for their clubs and training sessions before championship due to training for the County team as far back as september last year. Mostly gym work, but the development stage of that does not sit with playing Senior championship.

Its only a matter of time before we have semi-pro and regional outfits.

Bend the knee to Kev, pal. He has schooled you over the last 2 weeks.

I wouldnā€™t pass heed what a fence sitting, ancillary poster like yourself thinks.

You should have listened to me before the match pal, it would have saved you all this humiliation.

I would not expect anyone to apologise for taking a stance on a football game and sticking to it.

I wouldnā€™t do it.

Would anyone else?

Itā€™s awful game to watch at times. Hand passing back and forth and back and forth.

Youā€™re too much of a gentleman to him Kev. I hope he learns from you and shows this much class next time you get one wrong.
