Sounds like you know something?
There was nothing in the Connolly incident. Heās being victimised.
Yes and no.
Dublin will never play outside Croke Park again after this, itās just too dangerous.
Had this been any other Dublin player bar McMahon say, there would have been no commentary on this incident. The hysteria is wrong and there have been plenty of cases where players have done worse.
Show me where a Dublin player did that in the last few years and we can compare .
We need Joe Brolly on the case.

Connolly has had a big influence on the 4 x All Irelands this Dublin team have won. He was also MOTM in 2 All Ireland club finals. However @farmerinthecity does have a point. If Connolly had the temperment of Jack McCaffrey or Bernard Brogan we would probably be talking about one of the greatest players to play the game. Instead he will be remembered as much for controversy and schemozzles as he will be for his sublime talent.
Joanne Cantwell talking nonsense there.
āItās the first time Down have been drawn at home in the Ulster Championship in 19 years.ā
No it isnāt. Down were drawn at home to Monaghan in 2007 and Antrim in 1999 and both game were played in Newry.
Down didnāt even play in Newry in the 1998 championship.
I think what she meant is that itās the first time Down have been drawn at home to Armagh in the Ulster championship in 19 years, given they were technically the home team in an Ulster quarter-final clash that year. The only thing was they werenāt at home at all as the game was played in Clones.
More to the point, the rest of Ireland is fighting against the hand of history here - the last time Down played Armagh in Newry in the Ulster championship was in the quarter-final of the premier provincial championship in 1991.
Down went on to win the All-Ireland and itās difficult to see the same thing not happening this year should they win today.
Would be great if that bird knew the words to Amhran Na Bhfiann
Itās going to be war.
Hope so,thereās no bit of hatred in games anymore,I blame the backdoor
Cmon down
Lovely stuff
Down havenāt beaten Armagh in the championship since 1992.
But theyāve a 100% championship record against Armagh in years in which Guns āNā Roses played at Slane.
A fucking massacre more like
Lane must find men dressed in orange attractive as heās fucking them right now.
Great start from Down.
Goooolll dāArmagh.
Mark Shields.
Emphatic finish after breaking through the challenge.
