2017 All Ireland Senior Football Championship

And if a game finishes level at the final whistle?

The hammering nembo takes these days is hilarious.

Proof positive if a bluffer hangs around too ling he gets found out

Thatā€™s unfair.

He got found out in the first five minutes he was on here (for each of his ā€˜brandingsā€™).

@Nembo_Kid is hammering all and sundry these days. Itā€™s gas

Itā€™s contaminated by the fact the replay ended in a 16 point hammering.

Your idiocy knows no bounds.

You canā€™t handle facts.

Facts like a draw is better than a loss?

Yerra Tommy Walsh split a referee with a hurl and got an All Ireland medal for it. Ye football lads would want to harden the fuck up

Facts like a 16 point replay defeat puts perspective on the drawn game.

Itā€™s actually impressive you are still digging in here. People with less conviction would have given in a long time ago.

It would be remiss of us not to pay tribute to a GAA milestone which took place over the weekend. To give a backdrop, first we should pay tribute to the accolades the man has accumulated so far

2006 - Leinster championship
2007 - Leinster championship
2008 - Leinster championship
2009 - Leinster championship
2010 - Footballer of the Year
2011 - Leinster and All-Ireland championship
2012 - Leinster championship
2013 - Leinster and All-Ireland championship
2014 - Leinster championship
2015 - Leinster and All-Ireland championship
2016 - Leinster and All-Ireland championship

And now, to add to all of this, Bernard Brogan, in his 11th season as a senior intercouty player, scored his first Championship point outside Croke Park on Saturday night last. Thats not first from play folks, thats just simply, his first ever Championship point outside of Croke Park. He was held scoreless last year by the rock of solidity defensively that was the Laois full back line.

Congratulations Berno. Maybe youā€™ll get that goal as well before you retire.

Mayo manager Stephen Rochford has named his team for Sundayā€™s Connacht Semi Final against Galway in Pearse Stadium at 4pm. The team shows a single change from the one which beat Sligo 2-14 to 0-11 in the Quarter Final three weeks ago, with Jason Doherty replacing Conor Oā€™Shea at left half forward. All match and ticket details can be found at this link

The Mayo team is as follows:

1.David Clarke (Ballina Stephenites) 2. Chris Barrett (Belmullet) 3. Ger Cafferky (Ballina Stephenites) 4. Keith Higgins (Ballyhaunis) 5. Colm Boyle (Davitts) 6. Lee Keegan (Westport) 7. Patrick Durcan ( Castlebar Mitchels) 8. Seamus Oā€™Shea (Breaffy) 9. Tom Parsons (Charlestown) 10. Fergal Boland (Aghamore) 11. Diarmuid Oā€™Connor (Ballintubber) 12. Jason Doherty (Burrishoole) 13. Kevin McLoughlin (Knockmore) 14. Cillian Oā€™Connor (Ballintubber) 15. Andy Moran (Ballaghaderreen)

Connolly taking his medicine, well fuck me, the cur has found some manners.

Cork head for battle against Tipp without experience of Oā€™Connor, Cadogan and Walsh

Weak enough Mayo side. That defense is there for the taking. Depends on whether Galway can win decent ball and deliver it.

If Mayo lose, is it the end of the line for the latest batch of underachievers?

Donā€™t know why Iā€™m bothering but sure fuck it. That must be one of the most ridiculous posts Iā€™ve read in my time here.

That half back line is the best in the country bar none. Keith Higgins continues to be one of the best corner backs of the last 25 years. Chris Barrett is a rock solid replacement for Brendan Harrison and is also extremely versatile. Cafferkey isnā€™t the greatest full back but heā€™s not a bad one either.

No it wonā€™t be the end if they lose tomorrow (I expect them to win).

If this Mayo team are underachievers, God help the rest of us.

Clearly no escape route.

The current Mayo team are a lot of things but underachievers isnā€™t one of them .
