2017 All Ireland Under 21 Football Championship

Derry-Armagh called off minutes before throw-in due to waterlogged pitch in Omagh. Farcical scenes.

Well if you don’t practice how can you be any good?

1-6 to 0-3 at half-time. Cork should have at least two more points, two handy, handy frees missed.

Kerry look decent but not so much better that they’ll definitely walk the All-Ireland or anything.

Conditions do seem pretty shit though.

Omagh flooded again.

Well who would have thought that could happen.

Just had a quick look at the Leinster one, Dubs are up 10-5.

Cavan Donegal off as well.

Centre-back Tom O’Sullivan seems like a very decent player.

Ah, that was class from Kerry. Turnover in midfield, three kick passes, quick handpass and O’Shea slots it over with ease.

O’Beaglaioch hits the crossbar, and over the bar.

Kerry have totally dominated this half, up by 9 now.

Jack O’Connor has worked his magic at underage level. Some excellent players coming through.

Cork having a complete meltdown here, can’t get the ball past halfway. Taking short kick outs but are unable to work the handpasses out of defence.

We’d at least have put up a bit of a fight at midfield.

And apparently Dublin have scored a goal to end that one as a contest too. Oh well, bit disappointing.

Not to take away from his input, but the likes of Pat O’Shea have had a bigger influence.

Griffen and Fitzmaurice had a huge effect in Dingle as well.

Some good players alright, but Cork have made it so easy for them second half. So many bad decisions and unnecessary mistakes. Kerry don’t even have to be that good, although they clearly have quite high skill levels.

It was like a rock on Sunday last .

Serious drainage issues, the amount of games postponed or played with massive pools of water at Healy Park is ridiculous.

It badly needs sorting.

Black card for Tom O’Sullivan.

Cork have a goal chance saved on the line by O’Beaglaioch.

The roly poly ref gets milled in the middle of the pitch.

Cork 14 points down with 10 minutes to go. Kerry don’t look like easing up either. Cork’s recent dominance at this level in Munster coming to an ignominious end - not that they made any use of it.
