So does Armagh
Great result for Laois, Division 3 will be hard won this year.
Armagh used to be good in my day
Be surprised if Laois stay up even still, Armagh just arenât very good, and Laois always seem to have their number in recent years. Itâs utterly bizarre, Antrim beat us and yet we can still regularly go to the gaelic grounds and beat Armagh with half a team.
Fixed that for you.
any row at this ??
Oh yea, youâd mentioned that, who were they missing out of curiousity?
No Laoisman ever did that.
Billy Sheehan still dines out on how he mugged off that ape McKeever though. Billy was an awful man, an absolute pest
Dyas
Murnin
McKenna
Connell
Casey
Morrison
Donaghy
McVerry
McKeever
Mallon
Off the top of my head.
James Morgan as well.
Wow. How many of those started Armaghs last two Championship matches?
Mallon, McKenna, McKeever, Donaghy, Casey, Connell, Morrison all started in one of the two Championship clashes with Laois last year.
Wow. That sort of experience would have been invaluable today.
Off the top of my head Laois were only missing
Timmons
Quigley
O Loughlin
O Connor
Walsh
O Carroll
Meredith
Farrell
Dillon
No point mentioning Cahillane or Boyle in that but both played in Armaghs last two championship games as well iirc. Hanrahan wasnât there either but I donât know his circumstances so itâd be wrong to include him above under those circumstances.
Anyway, half an Armagh team lost at home to half a Laois team. Both are shit then it seems.
I just thought Iâd put information in there that had been omitted in the initial post.
Tony Kernan also announced his retirement this week so I didnât include him.
No itâs good that I knew, I thought there for a moment that Armagh were a laughing stock. It seems McGeeney has it all under control.
I wouldnât say that now.
Leitrim would bate the pick of the two of them
Louth ticking along nicely in fairness
another win today for them over Longford
from talking to a few people earlier cork were just poorer than kildare and they lost
most football folk seem suprised kildare are 2/2 wins, they got a run on cork today and went up a few and held on, cork were described as âpatheticâ
That Savage lad looks good for Kerry.
Was he on the any of the recent minor sides?
Whoâs the Barry lad in midfield? He looks decent.
The Kerry team press release gave some info on him last week and this week
