2017 GAA National Football League (AKA Kerry's stroll to yet more silverware)

Puke football at it’s absolute worst.

Yes they will. Albert Reynolds is dead and they don’t even have a TD.

That was such a bad wide… ffs

That was an era ago . The levels of fitness now mean it is the default method of passing ball . Crokes handpassed a ball 34 consecutive times v Corofin .

What do you propose though? I think limiting the number of handpasses in a row is something which is impractical enough, sometimes it is the only option.

I do think the extremely slow netball-style passing in front of a defensive screen is a problem, it’s awful to watch but I wonder would teams just use their kick to kick it backwards while doing the same thing?

The problem is the defensive screen rather than the handpassing

Agreed.

But again, limiting the number of players you can have in your own half is equally impractical, I would think.

Michael Murphy’s hair style makes him look about 37.

Cluxton is a bombscare these days.

Armagh in the prospect of throwing a good lead away for the third successive game.

When teams do inject a bit of pace and direct running, it is good to watch and it’s very hard to do that without handpassing.

Teams being overly cautious & shit is the problem. Because it’s not even winning football, because it doesn’t cut it against the very best really.

Poor by McBrearty to lose possession there.

What was that free for?

Tremendous free by Murphy to level it in injury time.

More of a free that the one Dublin got against Tyrone to level matters.

That is as soft as they come.

Irrelevant.

Gutless from Donegal at the end there but a good result for them

Relevant.

Did you ask what the free was for last week against Tyrone?

FT. Donegal 2-5 Dublin 1-8.
