Cavan take the lead. They were shadowing McKiernan’s left so he knocked that one over right footed from 40 yards.
Mayo forwards or players who receive the ball inside the 30m line have an awful habit of instinctively running away from goal. They never ask defenders a question by taking them on. It’s seems they are constantly looking for a runner in behind.

Mayo have scored some excellent long range points from play but it must be a dose playing in their FF line. They never see direct ball into them.
