Worth pointing out, IT Carlow lost by 29-points on Sunday, 33-points down now.
Shouldn’t students at the books tonight .
Not if they’re doing lines of Coke in Castle Court
Students haven’t the money for that stuff ??
The recessions over.
The good times continue in Wexford for Banty

Fuck you Niall Moyna
headshot there allright
w.r.t Carlow IT last night, would that have been a freshers team they had out?
based on the results are the colleges also “resting” players for this?
I find it hard to believe they could be that poor. Generally they’re mid ranking, would have a few footballers from Laois, Westmeath, Carlow, Tipperary, etc, and all would be of a generally decent enough underage status. I do believe Sean Dempsey isn’t over them down there this year though so perhaps the organisation is a bit shoddy, but I doubt its this bad.
IT Carlow
D Campbell; J Casey, T O’Connell, C Ward; N Kane, E Buggie, T Collins; M Russell, S Maughan; D O’Sullivan, W Young, R Ryan; S Ryan, L Flynn,
There’s at least 3 Laois U21’s in there, 2 of which got run outs with the Laois seniors last Sunday. One of which, the centre back got their only score of the game. `
Absolutely farcical that the third level teams are invited to play in the Leinster competitions. The Munster Council had the right idea in kicking them out last year. Wexford hurlers beat a UCD second string side by 35 points the other day.
Joe Sheridan starts in goals for Meath against Laois on Saturday.
You may begin your goal line jokes…now.
Q: Why did the Montana State Fighting Bobcats football team cross the road?
A: Because it was easier than crossing the goal line.
BBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM
M Russell is a son of Paddy the referee. He may be remembered for getting his notebook knocked out of his hands by Paul Galvin and struggling to send Charlie Redmond off in an all Ireland final.
Mark would have been a part of a few tipp U21 teams and on the extended senior panel a few times. Handy hurler also. Played FF for the Tipp inters last year.
Fitzmaurice putting out very strong team for Sunday.
Kerry (McGrath Cup v Cork): Brian Kelly; Jason Foley, Mark Griffin, Killian Young; Brian O Beaglaoich, Peter Crowley, Tom O’Sullivan; David Moran, Tadhg Morley; Jonathan Lyne, Michael Geaney, Donnchadh Walsh; Barry John Keane, Jack Savage, James O’Donoghue.
Subs: Brendan Kealy, Brendan O’Sullivan, Gavin Crowley, Kevin McCarthy, Jack Barry, Ronan Shanahan, Adrian Spillane, Conor Geaney, Denis Daly, Conor Keane.
Keane and JOD both togging… A real punch to that forward line.
Laois 1-16
Meath 2-13
75th min penalty puts Meath 1 up, Colm Begley levels it. Meath advance on account of better score difference. Meant to have been an electric night in Stradbally.
