2017 RBS 6 Nations

I don’t listen much to Scottish radio and don’t read his work a huge deal but from what I see he is disliked by both Celtic fans and Rangers fans which means he might be an alright sort ,

The 1973 team feature on his Twitter account so he can’t be too bad ,

I hope he doesn’t own any hotels.

Was the 1990 game the day they walked calmly onto the field?

David Sole marched his men out in 1990 . It was spine tingling. Tony Stanger scored a try that day. Some of Finlay Calder’s ball ripping that day was utterly amazing .

Wonderful memories there Geoff. The slow walk out rightly got the crowd into a lather

odd that there are no teams from Lower North England in the Pro 12 then

Geoffrey outlined earlier that there is a tiny population in the Scottish Borders . Also the clubs have a real footing in those communities . There was a franchise there once .the Border Reivers, but they folded .

Celtic legend John Collins comes from the borders I think. Played a bit of rugby as well.

Who said Cauldron of Hate ?
This is a sport not Scottish bigotball. The borders is a small part of Scottish rugby’s fraternity but has a dispropionate influence compared to its size.

From Galashiels .

Scottish rugby fraternity is tiny.

Yes relative to soccer it is to be honest .
