Armagh TV only broadcast certain games from the Athletic Grounds I believe. Looking forward to it, hard to see past a 6th successive title for Tyrone though. We really are the kingpins of the McKenna Cup.

All three groups are the proverbial “group of death” in this competition.

Tyrone’s remarkable winning run means every other team will be out to take them down.

It’ll be fascinating to see if any team can do it.

I’m tipping Armagh to have a good run throughout this year and they are my tip for the title.

But Tyrone are not going to relinquish their title without a massive fight.

This year’s January Ulster football action will be BOX OFFICE.

A:
Derry 1-05 Armagh 1-03 HT
Down 1-05 QUB 0-04 HT

B:
Antrim 1-04 St Mary’s 1-07 HT
Monaghan 1-08 Fermanagh 0-08 HT

C:
Cavan 1-07 Tyrone 0-05 HT
Donegal 2-08 UUJ 1-09 HT

Tyrone remain in bother with 19 minutes left, 4 points down.

Tyrone’s bid for 6IAR looks in tatters as they trail by 6 points with about 10 minutes to go.

This will be serious ammunition for @caoimhaoin in his anti-Mickey Harte campaign.

Crisis in Tyrone if we have relinquished our O’Fiach and McKenna Cups at the start of January!

McAliskey has been stretchered off.

Straight red card for Mattie Donnelly.

It’s all gone wrong for Mickey Harte’s men today.

Things are falling apart for Tyrone in this year’s McKenna Cup in a similar way to how they fell apart for Spain at the 2014 World Cup and France at the 2002 World Cup.

Very difficult to keep a long winning run in major sporting tournaments going.

5 points remains the gap with 5 mins of injury time left.

Are Team Talk covering the game live or will there be a post-game analysis/round up show?

Teamtallk were covering it I think.

Cavan win by 4.

Tyrone’s fate is now out of their hands.

Down 1-11 Queens 1-08, Downpatrick, 2pm FT
Derry 3-10 Armagh 2-12, Owenbeg, 2pm FT
Antrim 3-12 St Mary’s 2-16, Glenavy, 2pm FT
Monaghan 1-13 Fermanagh 0-15, Clones, 2pm FT
Cavan 1-13 Tyrone 0-12, Breffni Park, 2pm FT
Donegal 4-13 UUJ 2-20, MacCumhaill Park, 2pm FT

All six games decided by a scoring margin of 4 points or less.

4 of the games ended in 1 point victories - unreal.

That’s the magic of the McKenna Cup.

It never, ever lets you down.

It’s no wonder a blue chip company like Bank of Ireland wants to be associated with the competition.

Cavan or Fermanaghs year

Was he reenacting one of his boxing videos he’s fond of throwing up in the 'book?
