Show me any evidence of a coach/manager/player saying they’d have preferred to not drawn drawn a first game as the lost the replay.

I note as well that you’ve changed tack from claiming that drawing the first game us as worthless only if get beaten out the gate in the replay. You’re now saying it’s worthless drawing if you lose the replay at all, based on what you say about Mayo last year.

Incorrrect., I’m saying losing the replay is worthless in terms of the fact that you’ve ultimately lost, all that has been achieved is prolonging the inevitability of losing.

With respect to getting tanked in a replay, it validates the original draw game as a bit of a fluke. At least if you lose narrowly the first day, you are not tarred with ultimately being destroyed by the opposition.

A draw is absolutely worthless if you don’t win the replay. That’s a fact.

Why is a three-point loss any less of a fluke than getting a goal to draw the same game with the laat kick?

I have been using the fact that teams get hammered in replays as evidence that the first game had the tinge of a fluke about it and there was a gap between the sides.

The fact that you fail to understand that point reflects poorly on your comprehension levels.

A three point loss is not tinged by the fact that it may or may not have been a fluke result.
