This Olmo lad is a serious detail

Simeone Jr
Schmeichel too

There’s been a load of random lads in the Scottish leagues as well who aren’t quite as good as their father:
Stubbs
Cole
Keown
Hateley
Fjortoft
Hendry
Hagi is at one of the other Glasgow clubs still I think
Weah was at Celtic

There were a few random brothers as well. Anelka, Seedorf, Sneijder and the likes all playing in the SPL in recent years.

Interesting that . I often wonder why more sons of pro footballers don’t make it . Very few in UK .

Since the 1990s when footballers starting earning big bucks & moving more freely . Maybe the hunger wasn’t there due to growing up in affluence . Interesting Maldini is 3rd generation

Haaselbaink too?

There was talk that he wasn’t actually related in the end. Not sure what was true to be honest.

Germany getting a taste of their own medicine here.

Spain are class but Germany are playing absolutely shite. The defending from that free kick was horrendous.
