Just saw the last 15 minutes of it there. Mayo kicked clear fairly handy.
Armagh 0-8 to 0-7 ahead at Sligo at half-time. I expect thatâs another match where a fitness differential will become apparent in the last 15-20 minutes.

We showed that we belong in Div 2 and going forward if we can get better draws who knows what they can do with a bit of momentum.
Mayo look very average, itâs hard to see them featuring in a Semi or a Final. Looks like the past 5 years have caught up with them & a fair amount of injuries too to boot.

Mayoâs performance there was very reminiscent of their win over Clare in Ennis last year. Poor before half-time, especially in defence, but kicked on in the second and ended up completely bullying their opponents physically.
Theyâre not in top gear yet, but the way they kicked on in the last 20 suggests theyâre once again slowly cranking things up as the weeks go on.
Seamus OâSheaâs loss is something they really could have done without with a view to the business end of the championship in an area where they were already down a key man.
Theyâll still want to avoid Tyrone and Monaghan in the draw. Louth, or maybe a slightly stiffer challenge like Armagh or Clare, would be perfect for them.

Mayo have looked average almost every year in the qualifiers. Todayâs game was very similar to Ennis last year. Down at half time and pulled away to win comfortably.

Mayo were fucking around in the qualifiers last year too against Derry and Clare. Getting by doing the bare minimum the name of the game. Was it last year or the year before that Mayo made heavy work of Fermanagh in the qualifiers as well?
