2018 All Ireland Senior Football Championship

That’s a scandalous black card.

Nothing in that black card there.

There’d be 15 a game if that’s a black card

I don’t get your jibes at Fermanagh, pal? What do you expect a county with their resources to do to compete?

There’s a sizeable Monaghan contingent still knocking around the Waterford greenway and Clonea beach today. Nice people. Dungarvan is a lovely weekend break when you’re living in a landlocked county and the weather is like this.

I’m all for Fermanagh playing to their strengths mate, was delighted when they made the final. But if you live by the blanket defence it better be able to hold. Donegal have picked through it very handy without any great strategic play

“This game is a farce” Joe Brolly a minute ago.

Superb umpiring to rule out Jamie Brennan’s illegal goal.

You get a better standard of umpiring in Ulster.

A dog runs on to the pitch. Sean Quigley handles it with consiberably more gentleness than how he treats opposition defenders.

Some crowd from Palestine in that left terrace. How’d they get on in the minor?

Ryan Jones very unlucky to see a second yellow there.

Thought Anthony Thompson retired

Sublime score from an acute angle by Seamus Quigley.

What an absolute waste of a Sunday for Arlene

Teams being paralysed by dieticians

“The Super 8s are elitist. We need a three tier championship.”

And gynaecologists

There’s a four tiered championship in hurling and hurling is a lot more competitive than gaelic football with a much wider field of contenders for the big prize.

Lovely words of encouragement from Michael Murphy to Fermanagh.
