Thatās neither here nor there
I agree but itās still a stick to beat them with
Pretty sure that was dismissed as a myth sometime back
A great fuck up .
It is an urban myth .
It was 28k about a decade ago
34,000 people @ ā¬30 a head would be a ā¬1m quid before pints food etc. Iād be surprised if it cost a fraction of that to open it.
Playing these games in Croke Park just gets the backs of the local residents up too. There are enough matches and concerts and conferences on there throughout the year.
I doubt there was a single Kildare/Mayo/Cavan/Tyrone fan this morning screaming down the radio looking for them to be played in Dublin when the draw unfolded.
Cian is playing a blinder in the siege mentality school of management
Iād say the Cavan fans are mulling over whether the three tolls and ā¬6 pints are even worth it
Surprised the Cavan lads even agreed to move it.
āYeah the surface is being relaid but we are still happy to host it here.ā
Brewster Park would have been perfect for that game.Full house great atmosphere and a handy drive home for both. The Gaa Are really starting to sicken my hole the last few years.Too many fuckin bean counters at the top.
It always sounded like horseshit to me.
Another big fuck up from the GAA whatever transpires now.
Fucking fistybogball is a joke.
I cant see a huge injustice here
Croke Park is up the road for Kildare, they play there regularly enough and is a home away from home, it a fair longer journey from Mayo. The GAA would be criticised for depriving fans of a chance to attend the game if they didnāt do something and cobbled together a double header in Croke Park, that doesnāt do Kildare a huge inconvenience and allows more Kildare and Mayo fans get to the game.
Also, can someone address the point as to how the fuck Kildare a rich county has such a shit hole of a county ground, and also why they didnāt nominate an alternative venue themselves to their liking.
The Kildare County Board are idiots.
They developed Hawkfield over Conleths.
Really surprised to see Cian O Neill be drawn into the media over this. Always so shy and retiring.
True, Kerry went the guts of 20 years without winning a minor or even coming close to it, got the house in serious order now
I have nearly had it with all these debates on formats
Bernard Flynn on RTE Radio this evening, saying the provincial finals are dead and must go as they are too one sided, then proceeds that maybe 8 groups of 4 are the way to go. eh Bernard, sure you wont get one sided games there?! says a 2nd tier championship needed and then says it didnāt work the last time.
