You can call it “populism”, which is an obvious implication that you think Kildare are wrong, all you want, mate.

But Kildare are quite clearly right in their stance.

Which is why nobody has yet come up with a good argument in favour of the GAA’s position.

The GPA don’t give a shit about player welfare, another junket for those at the top to cream off. Haven’t heard a peep out of them about Kildare hurlers being forced to play a play off up in Armagh against Antrim a week after winning an All-Ireland.

indeed that is a real issue but I haven’t heard a peep out of the Kildare co board or the GPA on the hurling matter
