Kildare will be pleased with that first half, could have fallen away but thanks to Cribben they hung on. Mayo look in second gear, but given they rarely come out of 3rd in the qualifiers that may not mean much. Given Goughs performance so far, they’re there for the taking if Kildare are up to it.
