2018 All Ireland Senior Football Championship

Great idea.

You could start by playing the Donegal game in Croker.

Give over.

Pack up yer lattes and rough it up a little.

Is it the gaa’s aim to run a competitive competition, or to make money?

Ask a stupid question …,

How appropriate it is that at the exact time the 2018 World Cup final will be taking place, the GAA will be putting on a rematch of the 1966 All-Ireland football final.

The moment they accepted Galway into Leinster it was clear the GGA only cared about making money.

why is everyone so against the GAA making a few bob?! jez there is summit to show for it around the country unlike the FAI

Partially true, but giving galway the same chance as everyone else might seem reasonable to some. Clearly not others. But what do they do with this new money, massive over funding of one team to ensure their big support perpetuates the profiteering. Is this fair?

Why are you always asking questions?

Best not to talk stick ball with Mattie.

Because they are either profit driven or competitiveness driven. Can’t truly be both.

Galway have received the vast, vast majority of funding the hurling gods have showered on Connacht. Yet I don’t hear you mewling about this.

Why is that?

Am what. Hurling gods? Any figures to back this up? But you don’t have an answer to my question, so deflect away with nonsense

You haven’t produced any figures either.

Figures at the bottom.

And your figures?

The42 ffs

money talks in all walks of life, money is needed to fund various aspects of the organisation including facilities, folk should hardly be surprised that the GAA likes to bring in a bit of coin . it is necessary to have a financial focus, some of this angst over venues may be merited but I unsure it all is

jez a few years back counties would have made a song and dance if a potential chance to play in croke park was taken from them, now it has turned the other way around

Those figures are from the gaa.

And your hurling gods figures please
