I think that is true re kerry. They are very difficult to judge but Iâd be very surprised if Mayo arenât right there at the business end of the championship. The character within that side is immense.
Did I? The problem for you is your reading is flawed. The dross they face is Ulster is superior to any of the other competitors face in their own province
I think Mayo will have a difficult year with only a point or 2 between them and Galway in Connacht.
Whoever wins Sunday will be in the Super 8 bar a fuck up . Whoever loses could have a hard road to get that far . Last year mayo made heavy weather of Derry & cork and Clare gave them bother . This year a qualifier route could be far tougher .
I think DOS is really underestimating the importance of Sunday (especially to Mayo)
True . Kerry tinted glasses here . The game is massive .
Well either Monaghan or Tyrone in the qualfiers anyway, both capable of beating anyone on their day. Either Cavan or Donegal. Then either Galway or Mayo as well. Fermanagh or Armagh. Cork or Tipp.
Incorrect. Since Donegal lifted sam in 2012 Ulster has been turgid.
Since 2013 ulster teams have faced non ulster teams in an all Ireland quarter finals/semi finals and finals on 13 occasions. Theyâve managed one win. Yes that is right one win in thirteen games. You can hold ulster up as the bench mark all you like but the fact is over the last five years the vast majority of their teams have been crap.
In fact if you take Jimmy Mcguinessâs Donegal out of the equation you have to go as far back as 2010 to find the last time an Ulster side managed to beat a non Ulster side in an all ireland quater final/semi final or final.
Thatâs the thing, every province is guaranteed 1 team in the QF without exception. What you will find is that Ulster teams have a far higher success rate of coming through the qualifiers and reaching the last 8/12 than teams from other provinces.
Weâre not talking about the qualifiers. Weâre talking about the business end of the championship. Ulster teams have been a footnote in the championship for the last five seasons.
Yes and that skews your argument when you referred to Tyrone having to beat the dross of Ulster.
The âdrossâ of Ulster ranks a few levels above the competition in the other 3 provinces.
Tyrone are fucking shite. I dont why so much time is wasted on them. They will lose to Monaghan and then will be hammered if they make the super 8s
Oh look itâs the typical Dublin fan who doesnât know if a ball is stuffed or pumped.
A bit rich coming from a lad that never played the game and is still blowing about his u-14 soccer medal
Yawn yawn yawn. Same every year Tyrone this, Tyrone that. Tyrone me hole. They are an irrelevance. Time to talk about teams like Monaghan and Galway and not a has been county like Tyrone.
Jesus, when Taz is successfully mocking you, its pretty badâŚ
Ah look who has crawled out from under his rock. Its bitter boy blue. How are Laois? Still on a piss up.
What are you talking about? Why do you and the other weirdos on here continue to partake in a sustained campaign of utter falsehoods against me?
Yap, yap, yap.
You donât know if a ball is stuffed or pumped.
Is that all ya got? No facts going back to the 1700s about how it makes Tyrone relevant today. You have nothing, your living in the past.
