Question for Ryder Cup experts @Juhniallio, @anon78624367 and @Bandage - have many pairings in Ryder Cup history done what Fleetwood/Molinari are poised to do, amass 4 points out of 4 over the opening four sessions?
No is the answer.
Who won?
Sky’s coverage terrible as usual. The Koepka/ Rose match is crucial and they don’t show us where Brooks ball ends up or his approach shot! They show Johnson chipping with no explanation as to how it got there!
Big point for Rose/Stenson
That’s the end of play for the day effectively even though three matches still out on the course. Europe will lead 10-6. 4 and a half points needed to regain the Ryder Cup.
Lanny Wadkins/Larry Nelson 1979
You’re forgetting yourself. Feign ignorance again this time tomorrow.
Molinari and Fleetwood are shaping up as the most entertaining and colorful pairing in Ryder Cup history. Europe are going to walk this lads, the yanks can barely find two lads that talk to each other.
Woods has been septic again.
The United States to retain the trophy. The singles draw has worked out very, very well for us. I only see the following Europe wins. Rose, Fleetwood, Molinori, Stenson. What are you thinking @Bandage?
I haven’t looked at the draw in great detail, but I had a cursory glance earlier and thought to myself “hey hey hey this isn’t over, this isn’t over by a long shot.” It could be the Miracle of Medinah in reverse alright. There’s a complacency about the official Europe twitter account this evening too, almost a feeling of job done.
What are the odds?
A bit of red on the board early and you’ll see mental breakdowns all over the course. Rahm, noren, rorz, olesen could all potentially be hammered
Going on your golf predictions so far we should probably accumulate the four Europeans to win.
I’ve had a shocker alright. Sure I gave up predicting after the foursomes on Friday.
I’ll go 8-4 and USA to retain the cup.
That’s some cunt-off
