Just caught the highlights of the afternoon foursomes. I felt sorry for Olesen sitting the entire day out because it transpired that McIlroy stunk the place out on Friday morning, didnāt even make a birdie on his own ball in fourballs and was entirely at fault for their loss. Yet Olesen was sacrificed and had to watch on as Poulter and McIlroy collapsed from 2 up after 2 to lose 4&3. That Spieth and Thomas point at the end could turn out to be pivotal and McIlroy really needs to redeem himself first up against Thomas in the singles today.
