Eire don’t have a particularly stellar historical record in play offs. They’ve beaten a few soft touches like Iran, Estonia and Bosnia but have lost to Spain, Netherlands, Belgium, Turkey and France.

I don’t know what arrangements @Bandage & the FAI came to with the IRFU when they gave them the money to redevelop the stadium but this game is more important that some two bit local contract.

They absolutely bottled it against Sweden in the play-off two years ago. Murphy is a similar physique and style player to Ibrahomovic and should be able to expose them.
