Iniesta and Makelele were machines of footballers who could run all day, Pirlo covered a lot of ground in his nonchalant fashion and Kaka burned players with the grace of a gazelle.
Shevchenko played in a much tougher era for football, going up against greats of the game like Thuram and Cannavaro rather than Van Dijk and Jerome Boateng.

Depay was never the same after luke shaw got injured against psv. They were brilliant together for a few weeks but after that he completely lost his confidence. Van Gaal didn’t seem to get on with him and Jose of course just sold him.
