I have a channel on my Saorview called BBC RB. There’s in studio video. Guilleme Ballbag is on now pontificating and then it’s back to 5 Live commentary.
I could only pick up 5 live if I stood in a particular part of the room as a kid. I remember Waddle missing a penalty in a cup game v Liverpool and it going all fuzzy and having to run downstairs to check Aertel.

Remember they had two commentators - they would do a half a half each.
The BBC Licence Fee was fair good.
