Ah well, that’s football. The beauty of winning a European Cup is that it’s rare, although a good bit less rare for Liverpool than for others. We had a great night at Atleti Woof’s stadium not long ago, now the favour has been repaid.
You couldn’t begrudge Simeone, though let’s face it, that’s probably as far as anybody will go in the competition.
