Why would it be likely the Champions League would be postponed and not ultimately cancelled? An ordinary football season is not like, say the Euros, the Olympics or the Ryder Cup in which you possibly could defer them until the following year.
The 2020/2021 Champions League is due to start in July.
The remaining matches this season could only be feasibly played behind closed doors, and given that players from teams are already testing positive, even thatās unlikely. The whole thing will likely be shitcanned and next season could well be too.
This is similar to when football was cancelled during the war. Shorter time frame hopefully, but it will just be cancelled
