It takes 2 outstanding shots to hit the par 5s for an eagle opportunity at Augusta. Hardly anyone reached the 2nd in 2 yesterday. The 8th requires a driver and a hybrid/3 wood with very few makeable putts for eagle. The 2 on the back 9 are easier than the front 2 but there is loads of trouble there too. 13th requires a draw and Raes Creek is protecting that hole. Even with a perfect drive on 15 you have large oak trees obstructing your view on your second shot which requires a draw/hook. Water at front and back of the green means there is high risk/reward.
Not if you believe that the current crop of golfers aren’t up to much.
You keep hearing Tiger and Phil on about hitting their “spots”. It’s definitely a course that rewards experience in that sense.

TW’s is 70.93 in 82 rounds.

There are no characters left, they are all monotonous fucking robots, who spout cliche after cliche and pretend to be best buddies with each other. fabulous golfers but boring cunts. McIlroy for example.
The older lads seemed to have a bit more about them. The likes of Player and Trevino, Seve… a bit of passion.

Reed? Is fairly popular on tour. Shane Lowry was on off the ball about it this year. The only fella that will eyeball tiger is Dustin Johnson. He’s so simple he doesn’t really know what’s going on and doesn’t fully understand what’s at stake.
