There’s close to nobody at it.
There was nobody at the Wimbledon men’s quarter final with home favourite Andy Murray a few years back at the peak time of the day.
Looks pretty full to me there in that picture bar a few seats Corporate seats. Odd that all you want to talk about with the French Open in full flow is Wimbledon and the Championship.
Nadal and Djokovic can’t even get a crowd in to watch them in Paris.
Sweep, sweep.
You need your eyes tested.
You’re some dinosaur.
Sweep, sweep.
Let get this straight, supposedly the greatest tennis tournament in the world is on and all @Cicero_Dandi is on about is Wimbledon? The guy hasn’t a clue, he is floundering here and all the Kult of Klopp thread, the poor lad is set for the looney bin.
Anyway enough of this which has the best attendance shite, the great man Federer is on court at the moment giving an exhibition on tennis. Won the first set 6-3 and is currently 4-0 up in the second.
Masterful stuff from Federer here. The crowd are wetting themselves with the shots he playing. 5-0 now. 9 games in a row.
I absolutely schooled you grass tennis court nerds last year when my prophecy of giraffes prospering on grass and we ended up with Anderson and Isner in a marathon semi final.
You claimed otherwise and you were left scratching your head. You didn’t even know Wimbledon seedings deviated from the world rankings until recently.
Federer 2 - 0 up now and cruising. Great watching the master at work here.
Amazing that he’s beating the world no 63.
Yeah and?
Just flicked it on there a few minutes ago after getting. Its a novelty at Roland Garros - a full house. The Great Man seems to be the only one that can pack the rafters in Paris. Stands were barely half full when Nadal and Djokovic were playing earlier in the week.
They did an aerial view of the court at one of the change of ends are there are still plenty of empty seats but it is the biggest crowd that I have seen. There was fuck all at the ladies match this morning on the Philippe Chartier court.
Your eyes must be playing tricks on you again.
Its a tournament that has a very limited appeal. Looking like a real vanity project carrying out all that development work over the last year when hardly anybody is arsed to go and look at it.
Sweep, sweep.
John McEnroe just there now on Eurosport.
Federer - The most elegant and beautiful player to ever play the game.
Nadal - For ruggedness and effort, Nadal is your man.
