Correct and am sure Rafa said exact same thing to him. That second set he really had him on the wrack, Federer in 15 years hasn’t had Rafa break sweat in Paris

He did indeed, he said Thiem will win one for sure and that if he ever has to lose a slam final, he’d like it to be against Dom.
Thiem is made of much tougher stuff than Federer and he kept on battling even when Rafa turned into Tennis God mode in the final two sets. He took his defeat with grace, he wasn’t there snapping at the umpire or burying balls into the crowd in frustration.
