Barca-PSG the marquee game, and then Atleti-Chelski the pick of that draw?
Some great games there. Leipzig have already dumped one English team out this season. They might dump another
Sevilla v Dortmund will have a great cut to it. Sevilla probably disappointed not to be having their annual run at the Europa League
Probably the easiest draw.
Porto and PSG who are hardly small clubs the only teams outside of the big leagues. It’s a very stale exclusive format
Who did United get?
Real Sociedad
They should run off the CL like they did last year, postpone it until May and do it straight knockout on neutral venues with the potential of some fans.
I’d agree with you.
They need to cancel the fucking Euros if you ask me and stick on champs league in the summer
What difference does it make whether you’re at home watching one thing or the other?
Not even necessary to cancel the Euros. If the CL is deferred until the domestic season is over, then the domestic season should be concluded 3 weeks or so prior to that.
Pick a country like they did last year in Germany or Portugal and run it off there. The UK could be a good choice this time around with the vaccines.
Give the teams their bases and run it off like knockout international football. Single ties - weeks should do it as it’s only 4 games at most in 21 days.
All very sensible points. Trying to run it off at the moment the usual way is a recipe for trouble
