Just ran out of legs a bit in the end. We could have done with some of the unavailable players being available to strengthen our bench. The free against Daly was a killer. Just won a turnover at 16-16 and it was essentially a free point for Kerry from close in. Ultimately needed to get more from Comer, Conroy, Finnerty and Tierney. Walsh, McDaid and Daly were unreal.
Need to bin Gleeson asap. Pretty much only got back in this year due to injury to Conor Faherty.

A very unimpressive trophy lift. Touch of Jim’ll Fix It about the other lad getting to co-lift it. Seanie Shea probably would have felt embarrassed to have lifted the trophy alone given how he played.
Ah it was a good aul game between 2 honest but limited teams. Nowhere close to 6 in a row standards though

I don’t understand why Galway didn’t have a period of bating balls into Comer, especially straight after half time.
If the Mayo side from 2012 to 2017 was starting off now they’d probably win six in a row.
