2022 FIFA World Cup (Part 1)

He manufactured the contact.

Not a peno

They obviously had a long look at itā€¦

Thereā€™s going to be suspicious betting patterns looked into after this game.

No contact at all with the ball

this is as blatant as iā€™ve ever seen. 3 stonewallers they should have had

Canada have been unreal. I donā€™t think Iā€™ve seen them play before. This is like a throwback to the old days when youā€™d only see teams once the World Cup rolled around.

Belgium may have used the wrong blood bags.

Thereā€™s a PDM 1991 feel about them.

Youā€™d pay the entrance fee for Davies alone

The Ryan Reynolds effect continues to permeate through football

The penalty arc (colloquially ā€œthe Dā€ ) is marked from the outside edge of the penalty area, 9.15 metres (10 yd) from the penalty mark; this, along with the penalty area, marks an exclusion zone for all players other than the penalty kicker and defending goalkeeper during a penalty kick.

Canada playing so well makes spock looks pretty bad

Heā€™s class going forward in fairness.

Iā€™m emotionally invested here for the Canadians. Itā€™s like watching Wexford spurn a plethora of first half chances before inevitably being overpowered down the home straight. Iā€™ve seen this one before and I donā€™t like the ending.

In GGA parlance, Belgium have been on the go a long time. Canada are the equivalent of some young, vibrant team who take out a fading power in a Saturday night football qualifier game circa 2006-09.
