Most biased officiating since Howard Webb used to do Mr Alex Fergusonâs bidding
The anti Asian racism on show here is appalling.
Uruguay would have added something. Shithousery, drama, anything better than Korea anyway. The first non penalty was a stonewaller.
Some lads would want to have a word with themselves here
Karma is a sweet sweet mistress
There will have to be a serious probe into these decisions
Some lads would find racism at the end of a bag of crisps.
The usual suspects
Two of the soundest nations make it through fair and square and fellas who thought it would be funny supporting a team known for shithousery turn nasty.
Surely they could have gone to the TV and had a look anyway. Muslera was giving the ref buckets of it afterwards. As mentioned here before Uruguay are very similar to Atletico Madrid, you could also compare them to the likes of a Tyrone in GAA. Or a townie team in Wicklow after a defeat in a club game in Aughrim.
The warrior spirit
Iâd like to see them enter a team in the Laois hurling championship.
That is hilarious tbf
Uruguay werenât good enough in the tournament, they were awful against Korea and only started to play against Portugal after conceding.
They were better today but why did they take Nunez & De Arrascaeta off when they knew there was always a chance theyâd need another goal? Nunezâs pace was causing trouble in behind.
Too negative, because they must have known Korea were always likely to get a chance against a Portugal side who didnât have to win. Korea were throwing everything forward on the break.
Next weâll have Uruguay are the Seqn Quinn of tbe world cup.
Anyone who really loves sport, knows that there was something rotten going on there today.
Also, Thomas Partey was absolutely woeful today for Ghana. Amartey was all over the place aswell.
Sulemana made a big impact when he come on.
Valverde very good again for Uruguay, Varela at RB was superb until Sulemana came on. Better from Nunez compared to the first two games.
The great Oscar Washington Tabarez was shabbily treated.
I suspect the Swiss will miss the trusty guidance of Vladimir Petkovic tonight.
Murat Yakin has the face of a manager eliminated in the first round.
A pity a once great player in Cavani got caught up in the antics of lesser men and took a dive instead of trying to be a hero for his nation.
Some lads are showing their true colors here. The World Cup doesnât be long finding fellaâs out
The nasty side of sport is never too far away.
