Cameroon and Uruguay will be disgusted today with their first two group games.
Like somebody starting their Christmas shopping at 3pm on Christmas Eve, or a Leaving Cert student who starts studying the night before the exam.

They could have and both should have got out of their respective groups.
The Serbs should have stuffed Cameroon though.
But they are of dubious character, not to be trusted.
You have to respect how much the Swiss despise the Serbs.

I had a dislike for the Swiss but more so for the Brian Kerr management era.
I always thought Kerr was unlucky myself to be fair to him.
He ballsed up our best generation of players

Plenty before him done that too 
Inter Milan’s and Bayern Munich’s record of having players in every final since 1982 is also under serious threat.
Bayern will need France (several players) or Holland (De Ligt) to get there.
If Holland get there Inter’s record should continue. But Inter Milan’s best hope is probably Argentina’s Lautaro Martinez. Croatia and Marcelo Brozovic an outside shout for them.
The Serbs are complete bottlers. Switzerland showed them who’s boss once again
