2022 FIFA World Cup (Part 1)

Kostic is good as well to be fair. They were steeped Mark Travers positional sense was all over the place in Belgrade though. James Collins managed to slide tackle one into the net against them.

Xhaka and Shaqiri have had some run at it at international level. Always seem to show up in major tournaments for the Swiss. Same with Rodrigues the left back. They have got fair service from those lads.

It really highlights how poor Spock is.

Fancy the US to go through today. Argentina will have it surprisingly handy against the Aussies.

Pele on the way out. Brazil will want to dig really deep and find something to win this as a send off to the great man. Can’t see Neymar doing much when he returns, ankles don’t just heal that quickly. I’m shocked they’re as short as they are.

Short ankles are a killer alright.

Pele moved to end of life care, not responding well to chemotherapy.

Brazil v Argentina will be some semi-final.

“Do it for Diego” v “Do it for Pelé”.

I expect the US to beat the Dutch today. They do probably lack a number 9, Ferreira starting up front today which is the 3rd different player to start there. But they have a really excellent midfield and I think the Robinson/Pulisic combination down the left can really hurt Dumfries who has been really out of form.

Jesus, the voice of this wan analysing on RTE is very irritating. Richie Sadlier only slightly less so.

Adrian and Stuey on duty for RTE, I’m ok with that.

Best of luck to our closest Allies this afternoon. It would be great if they could beat those clog wearers.

Pulisic should stick that.

Great finish.

As good a team goal as you will ever see

It never ceases to amaze that Davy Klassen starts for The Netherlands still.

Is Memphis DePay about to do a Diego Forlan and take a World Cup by the scruff of the neck after flopping at Manchester United?

That Dutch wan had some nose on her.
