2022 FIFA World Cup (Part 1)

John Bullshitter will have to dig deep to find his usual racist jingoism in the event that England meet them.

Bryan Robson’s dislocated shoulder and Butch Wilkins’ red card will surely get an airing.

No one expected Greeks to do that, no one expected Moroccans to do this. No hardly about it.

You’d see a lot of trap, Mon and big micks Irish sides in that Moroccan side. Very familiar.

Pity we had to the Spanish pass ball to death route.

England will walk all over them, that was their final tonight

The two hardest-working sides in this tournament have been Morocco and Croatia. It is the final that football demands.

It reflects very badly on Spock that Serbia finished rock bottom of their group too. Just goes to show what can be achieved with defensive solidity and organisation. Both of which are sadly lacking in the Ireland set-up at present.

That was Adrian Eames.

Croatia and Morocco are in the semi-finals concentrating primarily on an extremely solid defence.

England have traditionally done that under Gareth Southgate. France have moved progressively away from their 2018 template when they very much concentrated on solidity first.

Im tellin ye lads, England’s fucking name is written on it

The Argies won’t let them mate. Not with the year that’s in it.

Would that chunky Acuna fella be able for Saka’s pace?

The difference between the likes of Ireland & Morocco is that Morocco have some superb technical players in midfield in Ounahi & Amrabat, as well as genuinely creative players in the final third in Boufal & Ziyech.

And the best right-back in the world, which is always useful.

What they really lack is a top, top striker but, even still, En-Nesyri has played regularly in a top league for years, has loads of Champions League & Europa League experience. Morocco are a good outfit. Injuries will test their squad in the next game though.

There’s still only 1…

He’s suspended so it’ll be Tagliafico.

The quarter-finals can’t end quickly enough for @Lazarus.

Great shot of the Moroccan lad in the crowd with his mouth agape when En-Nesyri got to the header.

Back for a hypothetical final vs England though

Ah yes.

He’s deceptively quick, I think. But even the best full-backs would struggle with Saka in full flight.
