2022 FIFA World Cup (Part 2)

The misogynists think that appreciating a fine pair of diddies is misogynistic?

Yesssss Messi .

When nadal does it at 35 he has to be undoubtedly on peds. Nobody questions it in football.

Iā€™d say the standard of the World Cup was very poor but a lot more exciting.

Messi has struggled in the CL for a few years now but the lower standard and the absolute mayhem of the games suited him.

You think she wants her body appreciated by creeps like yourself?

Klose at 36?

What does he do at 36?

TJ Reid is still producing the goods at 35 and he has the wife taking him away on mid-season trips to Thailand.

Thatā€™s because nadal is producing one v one in an extremely attritional hard running sprinting sport. Messi is LITERALLY strolling around the place. Literally.

Modric had a great World Cup at 37.

Unbelievable in the Champions League last year too.

Messi has definitely slowed down from what he was, but heā€™s had a superb start to the season with PSG and continued that form into the World Cup. Doesnā€™t have the top end acceleration that he once has but he still can beat a player in a tight space.

Maldini must have been about 39 when he captained AC Milan to the 2007 Champions League title. Fulvio would love that one.

Why are ye trying to pick holes in what I said ffs? Messi was the player of the tournament in the world cup at 35. He got two goals in the final and scored in the shoot out under the most extreme pressure. He scored 6 goals and had 3 assists. He was without any shadow of a doubt the best player (or at worst best 3) in every single match on the winning team. He tucked away 5 crucial penalties when up to now his penalty record was the one major flaw in his record. He played key passes made countless line breaking dribbles, he was just really really good. There doesnā€™t always have to be an alternative view ye stupid cuntsšŸ˜„

Throw up a pic so we can evaluate the level of misogyny/quality of the diddies

You asked a question buttercup

Sorry Iā€™ve drank a bundle of pints and am chuckling reading back through the thread.

I was going to ask were you on the gargle

:smile: itā€™s hard to believe he produced the goods as much as he did at his age though. I genuinely thought he was done dusted on the big stage when it came to the crunch since around 2015

Argentina set up to give him every chance. He didnā€™t have to defend and his teammates would run through walls for him because they knew heā€™d do it when it mattered. And he did it. As he always has done.

Sir Stanley Matthews was still playing in the top flight at 50.

The first sentence is a bit superfluous in a team game.

What was his best achievement post 34?
