2022 FIFA World Cup (Part 2)

FIFA is an incredibly corrupt organisation. Itā€™s hardly a million to happen.

Iā€™d have thought some of the Russian games in 2018 stunk.

Messi is a dispenser of joy and lads want to bring his greatest achievement into disrepute. Sad really.

Such as?

Somewhere, right now, thereā€™s a nearly italian seething, dying to post up the you tube highlights of italy getting knocked out by south korea in 2002 to the music from platoon.

And they canā€™t even get that right, especially the English. The only thing rigged in football is where the tournaments are held. Theyā€™re all making too much money to mess around beyond that.

Iā€™d say rigging of the biggest races in horse racing is a thing off the past because you canā€™t get the bets on anyway.

It would be rather pointless. Remember Brian wright in the 90s.

Soccer you can have you like on in the Middle East markets.

Day to day horse racing is absolutely septic. There were two Varian horses, group 1 horses that drifted like a barge at RoyalAscot. Sakeer was 7/2 in the morning out to 16s and god only knows what on the exchanges. For probably the second biggest trainer in England.

Iā€™m not sure thatā€™s rigging tbf but back in the 80s there was genuine evidence of race fixing.

Didnā€™t graham Bradley try get a gold cup cancelled in the snow.

they used to be shoving sponges up horses noses and all

Stopping a horse is corruption. They canā€™t actually rig races, becausemost of them wouldnā€™t train ivy up a wall.

There was one rigged at Dundalk, only two could win. We are awaiting the inquiry. That was a rigged race. Day before Covid.

They paid a lot of jockeys too.

Some great stuff here:

But they did rig races. Brian wright paid off a load of jockeys.

Iā€™d almost admire the coordination to do that. Fav just one at Goodwood, all right with the world!

Must watch that.

Very interesting watch. Brownes young lad is riding in England now.

This fella sums up everything wrong with modern football.

Pogba or Gavin Cooney?

Cooney

Iā€™m still not sure which one you meant. I think ā€œ(gav)ā€* has got it fairly spot on there actually. Pogba was actually shite enough compared to his reputation. Didnā€™t have the head for it even though he had everything else. He was never going to sustain a career at the very top level.

He won four Serie a titles and dominated a
World Cup final.

Put some respect on the manā€™s name.
