2022 FIFA World Cup (Part 2)

Iā€™d like to see Croatia win it out now.

Very similar population to ourselves which is great to see. I think theyā€™ll play Argentina off the field.

Their midfield are a joy to watch.

Modric has been the best footballer on the planet for the last fifteen years. Iā€™ve a massive man love for him. He half reminds me a bit of myself during my playing careerā€¦though i was sort of 50% modric, 50% Gascoigne and 50% Al Queda.

He makes the game beautiful to watch.

Just on the move all the time with his head up. Incredibly intelligent footballer.

He doesnt seem to be slowing down either at 37 years of age. Massive credit to him.

Imagine he hadnā€™t wasted those years with Spuds

I tried to find a clip of morhinho on the sideline. Madrid were totally outplayed and he was about to bring on a striker. Nani got sent off and jose assessed the situation in a split second. Unrale

I forgot about that goal.

Heā€™s unbelievably fresh for a man of 37 thatā€™s had no real break through injury etc, heā€™s never missed many games and gone late in most competitions every year. 160 caps for Croatia is plain ridiculous. Probably up on 1000 games as a senior pro.

A lad that let his brain do all the running.

I was at that game. He won it for Madrid. Sensational

Messi at 35 and Modric at 37 vying to win and be best players at a World Cup when less than a generation ago a lot of careers ended in late 20s shows how sports science has moved on

Is that what theyā€™re calling it these days?!

Yea there were no performance enhancing drugs before now

Itā€™s day 23 of the World Cup.

Today Gianni Infantino feels angry he didnā€™t win the Nobel Peace Prize.
