Did we win @tank?
A slow run up by Jemar Hall
He hit it faster than a cannonball
But despair for Armagh as he sent it too high
Yes, a black man called Hall from Forkhill missed the last penalty for Armagh. He will probably get all sorts of racist abuse off the Armagh fans now.
Huzzah!
The Monaghan GAA Twitter guy seems to have clocked off after the penultimate penalty, bless.
Armagh were one of the first counties if not the first to field a black player when Joey Cunningham starred for them in the 1980s in one of the all time classic GAA jerseys.
@Tank do you remember when the 3 black lads transferred to the Sem around '01/02. They were year below me. Red Enda nearly blew his load and fast tracked them onto the soccer team halfway through the year. Turns out they were rubbish.
@Chucks_Nwoko
I was in Scrahâs chemistry class with the 2 older brothers, Rap and Mac I think they were called. Very nice boys. Athletic but no skills. Also fuck all English. Mac played hurling for the school at one stage I think. One of them went to college in Texas IIRC, donât know about the other one. I think theyre living in the States with not much connection to Ireland. Vinny Lee was very nice to them, made them both students of the year at the end of year awards. I was at that ceremony, I canât remember why, but I remember their mother crying uncontrollably afterwards.
Rap and Mac were Nigerian, Jenar Hall is American. His father is a former pro- American footballer, got turned onto GAA one day watching Kieran McGeeney nearly kill a man with a shoulder in a friendly for Mullaghbawn.
Why were you at the ceremony, nerd?
Oh I think I know now. I think I might have won Dan Murphyâs investment competition.
A very distinctive pattern here. Keepers should have done better.
First McKenna Cup win in 18 years for Monaghan after a 1pt win over Donegal at Omagh.
Relegation surely beckons now.
Donegal will win one of the next two All-Irelands.
They should have won one of the last 5 too
