Really fancied gurney there, I had him at 80/1 outright

Hard luck.
I felt watching the match Gurney was too sloppy on finishes but he only missed 1 dart more at double than Cross.
What killed him was consecutive visits with no treble at times giving Cross easier runs at finishes.
It’s that minor loss of concentration in legs that he needs to sort because his game is naturally good.
