2022 Six Nations rugby championship

I think they’re just an extremely well coached team but not very interesting to watch. All their tries today were from players eventually going over from a pick and go after sustained pressure in the 22 I think? Not the kind of rugby I’d prefer to watch. Made very hard work of 14 man England too

Ah they’ve improved immensely this campaign … way more adventurous

Agree to disagree. They played brilliant attacking rugby imo against NZ, Wales and France at times in the last few months.

The Aussies on the wing have a bit about them in fairness and Keenan. Henshaw much better than Aki and Ringrose too

France Ireland was an epic game albeit Ireland were lucky enough throughout.

The New Zealand game in November is probably up there with anything an Irish team has ever done performance wise.

The 18’ New Zealand team were probably better but the manner of the win November was exceptional.

France when they are right look the best team around at the minute. Stunk the joint out last week but will probably have no bearing on tonight.

I hope France win, would be good for the sport

Nothing has much bearing on tonight. This is Barcelona against Millwall on a wet Tuesday night in Stoke.

I hope they win to sicken the tans.

Eddie Jones could go if they are thumped but I think twould be a mistake to ditch him now. Got them spot on for the world cup last time.

Looks epic.
I shudder to think how much you’d have to pay for a ticket for the opening match of the world cup

Great to see France progressing again but championships are thin on the ground for us over the years so I hope England beat them. 4 in the last 13 years (mad to think 09’ is 13 years ago) but a long gap before that. Any championship would be savoured.

I think this is a big match for England and for Eddie Jones. They have to show something, a proper performance.

On TV3 the Kearnivore was saying that it being Paris and Saturday night, he couldn’t see France fail. He must have forgotten the 2007 World Cup semi-final, played in the same stadium on a Saturday night, when France, fresh from beating New Zealand, turned in a pathetic performance to lose to an England team which was by a distance the most limited team to ever reach a World Cup final.

France might win but I wouldn’t be betting much on it.

France will bate the bollix off them. This is not a good English side.
