Correct. If he laid hands on a woman he has no business being a leader of young men. He has not refuted the allegations, just gone down the legal path. It will be a damning look for the GAA if he is in Clones on Sunday with all this hanging in the air

The gauntlet has been laid down to Sinn Fein.
He was ready to get involved with Down a couple of years back. Derry is probably the closest county outside Donegal to him, serious AI prospects and a good age profileā¦Iām sure heād be very interested.

The issue is with those calling for his head is what investigations do they want to take place if they have already taken place?
Fair enough if there are additional ones taking place or there are items that havenāt been investigated but other than that what do they want?
Are we convicting people now on completely unsubstantiated allegations? I believe her but itās a dangerous precedent to be finding people guilty when nobody knows the facts and all thatās there is peopleās own bias on hearing both unsubstantiated version of events.
From a Derry perspective they should be asking him to step aside as his presence is creating a circus around the team and will have and continue to have a negative impact.
Thankfully Ulster football has a long tradition of respecting competitors private lives so I donāt see any of this stuff raising its head on Sunday

Itās amazing all the same what protection sporting prowess gives to some folk. Greenwood, DJ , the list is endless really. Good GAA man is actually used as a defence in court.
