2023 All Ireland Senior Football Championship

That was brilliant craic. Poor standard but a great couple of hours.
That hill behind the far goals (I’m sure that’s what they call it) is iconic.
The bemused locals up at the other end! :slightly_smiling_face:

Where were you watching it mate?

GAA Go

Fcuk. Didn’t even look for it. :slightly_frowning_face:

The pig and whistle franchise will be on wheels.
Colm O’Rourke, Charlie McGettigan , Declan Darcy, Patrick McGoohan, you have beaten them all. Seamus O’Rourke, Katherine Lynch. Katherine Lynch can you hear me? CAN YOU HEAR ME? Your boys took one hell of a beating, a hell of a beating.

Andy fucking Moran will have to go, a once in 10 years chance to make a Connacht final

Worse it’s one of the best chances they’ll have to ever play for Sam Maguire again. What if NY beat Sligo now? Do they play a home Sam Maguire match?

I don’t think anyone has thought that far ahead

Sligo would have beaten us handy anyway.

@Spidey

Who was the Shane Carthy playing for New York yesterday?

It wasn’t the lad who wrote the book on depression.

Nope, Dazzler was wrong there.

No - different wan. Played with Vincent’s and won a club all Ireland and few inter county ones on Jim Gavin’s panels. Tidy enough footballer. I saw him taking a free off the weaker left last night and thought that’s his good pal Dermo’s influence (he missed) and then he goes and kicks the equaliser off the left.

Does Brian Carthy the commentator have a son that plays?

He does. Plays in goals for St. Judes.

To further confuse things, is his name Shane also?

John Brian. Won an U21 about 10 years ago with Dublin.

I wonder will Larry make it back to Pairc Ui Chaoimh today.

It could be a box office presentation speech.
