After beating Kildare at the weekend and all 
I’ve just realised Louth have two wins in this. So they’ve decided to throw what was essentially a dead rubber, safe in the knowledge that they are already through to play the winners of Offaly v Dublin on Saturday.

Credit the counties for treating midweek games with the disrespect they deserve. Of course there’d be little issue if we could only get rid of the Sigerson, Fitzgibbon and Club intercounty Championships.
Midweek IC fixtures in January are idiocy unless it’s a friendly.
Teams playing 3 games a week in January and then the most of them are finished by the end of May is some indictment of it all.
You’d want to be fairly simple if the O Byrne Cup is the hill you choose to die upon.
It’s the midweek games need looking at. Mental.
