Without a doubt, wasnāt expecting to win but a very poor display, it felt that BG were only in 3rd gear and were always in control.

They have been shit anytime I have seen them this year. They just happen to have an unreal bunch of players. Moments of individual brilliance saw them this far.
But they werenāt going to cut it when it got to a team with a similar abundance of talent.

Ballygunner werenāt that great today but they are very very well-organised and very hard to beat. They stick to their gameplan and they grind teams down.
I never really thought Na Piarsaigh would win today but I did expect a better game; the game was played completely on Ballygunnerās terms bar the last 5 minutes.
With Ballyhale gone, itās hard to see who will beat them. Hopefully someone does (itād be nice to see a new winner) but Iād say that might be the closest anyone gets to them for the rest of the year.

The only way I really see getting at Ballygunner and beating them is a team thatās got fast forwards and strong in the air. Iām most sure there is such a team out there.
Time for Nap to give Shane OāNeill the elbow. A great servant to the club but not up to it when it comes to Provincial championship. Tactics today were shockingā¦ā¦
Persisting with the short puck out despite being turned over several times leading to at least 0-3 for BG.
Leaving Peter Casey at 11 all game when he was getting nothing off Philip Mahony and crowded out every thing. Never crossed his mind to throw him into the corner and hit low ball at him. Brain dead stuff.
