2023 Club Championships

You’d be fucked if the management took a set against you

He’s still around the English Midlands. Not involved

How much are they paying him?

I heard 80 sterling from a very unreliable source.

I’d imagine its savage money. Still cheaper than what went before though.

The money they poured into winning the All Ireland Club was insane altogether. Must have been well over £300k/£400k. Mickey Moran, Conleith Gilligan &Thornton travelling half way across Ulster along with an S&C coach coming from all the way from Maghera and an Armagh man as goalkeeping coach.

A subplot to the whole Ulster Club scene is that the Kilcoo players all regularly travel 90 minutes to a Gym in Maghera for Testing which the Glen players would also use a good bit.

Heard there during the week Shane Walsh is full time WFH (Galway) and doesn’t drive!!!

Unless he’s off the road currently for some reason, then the ‘not driving’ bit is definitely nonsense.

He’s a teacher isn’t he?

He had that accident a few years back when the driver in the other car died. I don’t think he drives much since, he used to get a lift from John Divilly to Galway training sessions.

He’s a brand ambassador for connollys so he has a fine 232 Audi in his front yard

I remember him getting sent off in Fermanagh and lads anxious about the dressing room.

Maybe there’s no engine in it and it’s similar to Fred Flintstones motor.

Scored a glory point, eye gouged a lad then sent off inside the opening 5 minutes

The very time.

We’ve been notified of a March scheduled for 1pm in Parnell Square that may affect travel to the final.

Is this a far right or Marxist agitator March or just anti Crokes Muldoons ?

The great and the good of Corporate Dublin will be drinking pints in the Premium Level tomorrow.

It’ll be a real festival atmosphere.

Na Fianna are without the services of Donal Burke? Be hard to see them beating OLG without a hurler of that calibre.

He hasn’t played all year so they are well used to it.

Very disappointing the Ulster Final isn’t being televised live this week. According to my sources on the ground, Shane McGuigan is going to play for Slaughtneil and Big Chrissy should return from injury.
