The Germans and Belgiuns having players in a semi final for the first time is a sign of things to come. I was in a pub in Bordeaux during the summer and there were local lads playing darts…the big money on offer is attracting lads from all over the world

I have often said it but the iceman nickname for Price is laughable. He is anything but the iceman. Never keeps his cool and always roaring and screaming on stage or reacting to the crowd.

He tried to embrace being the villain like Ted Hankey but he’s struggled in big games when the crowd was relentlessly booing him. He probably wouldn’t have kept his cool for the Worlds he won if it was in front of a full crowd.
