If he starts pulling out of tournaments then the crowd will start giving him more stock when he does turn up. They know how much it affects him and influences a game.
Me man tells me Gerwyn enjoyed the company of a few PR ladies from a prominent bookies who sponsored a darts tournament last year. Hopefully one or both can have a word in his ear to keep on keeping on.
