Some psychological monkey off the back for Clare to beat Kilkenny in Croke Park. You can’t overstate how big it is. The final is a completely different game.

Kilkenny will regret those misses in the first half. They were really bad in the second half.
Clare hung on in the first half, gave up a horrible goal but bossed the second half.
Ryan Taylor back is a huge boost ahead of a final.

Kilkenny probably should have been 10 points up at half time. Couldn’t get a grip on shooting into the breeze the 2nd half. And got zero bounce from their bench.

Clare will have much less psychological baggage with Limerick than with Kilkenny. It’ll be a free hit for them like the 2013 semi. All the pressure on Limerick. The one team Limerick don’t want in a final is Clare.
